What Lights You Up: Live Music, time with family and friends, laughter, traveling

Specialties: Teens & Adolescents, Parenting Help, Depression, Anxiety, Grief & Loss, Getting Unstuck & Finding Direction

I specialize in helping people get “unstuck”, whether it be due to life circumstances (adjusting to life’s many transitions: grief, divorce, job-loss, relationships, parenting, step-families, spiritual crisis…) or caused by depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, ADD, PTSD, or a combination of the two (which is usually the case). I work with teens, adults, families, couples and groups. I incorporate many techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Emotional Transformation Therapy. I am also a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage counselor. My biggest joy as a therapist is being able to help my clients gain the tools that they need, not just to simply survive, but to thrive! I enjoy helping others to discover their potential and push themselves out of their comfort zone, which is where real, lasting growth occurs!

Change is a part of life. Sometimes it can be easy to navigate, but sometimes change can knock you off your feet. I’m here to help you get back up, find direction, and move towards your goals. I’ve learned from personal experience that adapting to new environments and being open to change is essential to facing both personal and professional challenges. After over a decade of success working in the corporate world, serving in both management and consulting roles, I decided I wanted more.  I pursued a career in professional counseling, and now get the fulfillment of working with clients to achieve their goals and navigate life’s unexpected challenges.

I see individual teens, young professionals, adults, and couples who find themselves at a crossroads in their personal, professional, or spiritual life, as well as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and OCD. I provide an empathetic and judgement free environment for you to process your experiences, clarify your goals through identifying your personal values and strengths, and strategize a path forward, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Person Centered Therapy, and Solutions Based Therapy.

I’m happily married to my amazing wife and have the joy of being in a blended family of three amazing kids. When I’m not chasing around my kids, I’m listening to theology or history podcasts, watching my favorite Dallas sports teams, doing DIY projects around the home, or volunteering at Church.
